A Texas teacher, known as Mr. J, sparked a storm on social media after organizing a school celebration where he offered a slice of pizza and a drink at no cost, but charged 2 dollars for each additional slice and 1 dollar for each extra drink.

Some users accused him of profiting from his own students, while others argued that he was teaching an economics lesson. The controversy grew when the teacher showed the money he had collected and joked about “starting to make money”. However, he later explained that he spent about 400 dollars on pizzas for around 140 students and only recovered about 187, far from making a profit.

Was it a teaching method or did he take advantage of the students?
