UPDATE: SEARCH CONTINUES FOR GENESIS NOVA REID
There is a heartbreaking but important update in the case of Genesis Nova Reid.
Genesis is still missing.
Authorities in Enterprise, Alabama continue their search, now with additional support. The Troy Police Department has partnered with Enterprise Police to assist in locating Genesis, including helping with the extensive search at the Coffee County Landfill.
Officials say the search area has been narrowed down, but the process remains incredibly complex. The search is expected to begin soon and could last up to 45 days or more.
Genesis was reported missing on February 16, 2026, though investigators later determined she may have been missing for weeks prior. Her mother, Adrienne Reid, has since been charged with Capital Murder and Abuse of a Corpse.
This comes just after what would have been Genesis’ 3rd birthday.
Instead of answers, her loved ones are still waiting.

Still hoping to bring her home.
